I'm Benjamin Westin. Two years of paid freelance production for agency, nonprofit, and political clients, live festival photography, and a semester teaching the next generation. Full-stack: video, photo, and audio post — not passed between three specialists.
Most video work gets split across three people — a shooter, an editor, an audio person. I don't split it. I shoot it, edit it, and mix it, because a project loses something every time it changes hands, and I'd rather keep the whole thing in one head.
Over the past two years I've freelanced as a videographer for Evolution Digital Marketing Agency, producing content for small businesses, nonprofits, and political clients across local and statewide campaigns. I've photographed live concerts and festivals for Wiscansin Fest, produced promotional video for a credit union, and spent a semester teaching high schoolers how to shoot and edit.
I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Illinois State University with a degree in Creative Technology. I'm fluent across the full Adobe suite, Logic Pro, and Pro Tools — video, photo, and audio post, end to end.
